This level is intended for clients who want the highest degree of individualization and coach involvement.

6. LEVEL 3 COMPREHENSIVE INITIAL ASSESSMENT

The initial assessment establishes the client’s starting point.

Depending upon the client’s goals and applicable scope of practice, assessment may include:

●       Activity level

●       Lifestyle factors

●       Recovery habits

Anthropometric Assessment

Where appropriate:

●       Bodyweight

●       Circumference measurements

●       Height

Postural Assessment

Evaluation of relevant static postural characteristics that may influence exercise selection and coaching.

Movement Assessment

Assessment of applicable movement patterns such as:

●       Squatting

●       Hinging

●       Lunging

●       Pulling

●       Locomotion

●       Other relevant movement patterns

Mobility & Flexibility Assessment

Evaluation of relevant mobility and flexibility characteristics that may affect exercise performance.

Strength & Performance Assessment

●       Strength imbalances

●       Training-performance benchmarks

Physique Assessment

For clients pursuing physique development:

●       Proportion

●       Weak-point identification

●       Overall physique presentation

Assessment findings are used to guide programming and establish measurable benchmarks.

7. LEVEL 3 INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAMMING

Level 3 includes everything provided in Level 2 while allowing for a substantially greater degree of individualization.

Programming may include:

●       Resistance training

●       Hypertrophy programming

●       Strength development

●       Mobility work

●       Stability work

●       Exercise substitutions

●       Progressive overload

●       Training-volume management

●       Exercise sequencing

●       Weak-point specialization

●       Corrective exercise strategies within the coach’s scope

●       Program progression

●       Planned reassessment

The program is not considered static.

It is treated as an evolving system that changes according to the client’s performance and response.

Weekly coaching may include review of:

●       Nutrition

●       Training

●       Bodyweight

●       Measurements

●       Exercise performance

●       Exercise technique

The coach then determines whether the current strategy should be:

Maintained → Modified → Progressed → Regressed → Reassessed

Potential reassessment areas include:

●       Bodyweight
